Long-term success with
SAE spark erosion –
ideal for cominbed fixed/
removable dentures

SAE DENTAL and its staff have many years of experience in restorative dentistry. Long-term success and the advantages of SAE spark erosion for creating combined fixed/removable dental prostheses have convinced our customers for over 30 years. Whether telescopic prostheses or prostheses with connecting attachments - our promise is always the same: precision fit of the primary and secondary constructions made of the NPM CoCrMo and titanium, only using SAE spark erosion.

SAE spark erosion –
ideal for creating clasp-free dental prostheses
This includes precision fit using dental spark erosion for prosthetic connecting elements with various uses:

  • Pin attachments
  • SAE precision T-attachments
  • Swivel latch fastenings

The insertion of a swivel latch is a great technical challenge for the dental technician. Thanks to dental spark erosion, this is technically possible and unproblematic. With regard to the financial aspect, this makes the swivel latch a less expensive connecting element.

Telescopic dentures made of the NPM CoCrMo
with controllable friction using SAE spark erosion

  • CAD/CAM milled or cast double crowns with precision fit – primarily made of the base metal CoCrMo alloy
  • Secondary constructions using the SAE solid cast procedure made of the NPM CoCrMo - biocompatible
  • Controllable friction using friction pins fitted parallel to each other using dental spark erosion

With the double crowns made of the NPM CoCrMo, the cone angle of 5 - 6° is dispensed with. This is an advantage for the aesthetics as there is then more room available for the acrylic or ceramic veneer. The long-term, controllable friction bonding of these SAE double crowns milled at 2° is effected respectively by a friction pin. The grooves for the friction pins are spark eroded, parallel to each other. The pin is attached securely to the secondary crown by laser welding. There is no soldering involved of non-biocompatible materials.

SAE double crowns have been proved and tested for 25 years.
